Practical Gift Guide for the Female Entrepreneur
Looking for the perfect gifts for the female entrepreneur in your life? Need a list of gift ideas to pass off to your family so they get you something you actually want? Okay then.
This gift guide isn't full of cutesy, colorful trinkets that look good on your Instagram feed. It's full of PRACTICAL gift ideas to make any female entrepreneur more savvy, more professional, more comfortable, or even more hydrated. Haha.
And there's a little color mixed in here too. Keep scrolling to see the full list of nine perfect and practical gift ideas for her.
1. Portable Laptop Desk
I've owned this portable laptop desk for about 2 years now. It's been stomped on by the kids, pushed under the couch, and used almost daily… and it's still in great shape!
It has a handle to grab it easily and the cushion on the bottom is just right. It fits both my 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pro (personal and work computer). I really can't say enough about this thing.
Why It's Practical: If you work on your laptop on the couch while watching your favorite shows, then you'll love this thing. It keeps your thighs from burning and put your computer at a better angle.
2. 20-oz. Tumbler
I don't know about you, but I drink water constantly while I'm working. Or coffee. This tumbler keeps drinks cold for 12 hours or hot for 4 hours. On Amazon, there are almost 4,000 reviews and it's rated 4.5 stars so I think it's safe to say this is a good buy. Plus, prettttttttyyyyy colors.
If you're into labels or don't trust a cheap tumbler, you can opt for the pricier Yeti version.
Why It's Practical: It's an affordable option for a tumbler… and we have to stay hydrated to run our businesses, amiright?
3. Manfrotto Pixi Mini-Tripod
I LOVE this little tripod for my phone! Not only is it sturdy, it also has a little ball you can press and move the phone into a different angle. I also love that I can grab the legs and pull them in to make a handle… perfect for getting steady video while you're out and about.
Why It's Practical: Anyone filming video with their camera needs a tripod!
If you need something to actually hold your phone too, I recommend the Square Jellyfish one. It's well made and easy to switch from horizontal to vertical.
4. Sharpie Markers
Nothing helps the brain get creative like a little color! I use colorful Sharpies when I'm brainstorming ideas for blog posts, courses, sales funnels, and more.
Why It's Practical: Sometimes you just need to go no-digital to bring out those creative juices.
5. Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920
While I don't have this YET, it's on my wish list. This webcam is a gold standard for an affordable webcam. If you do livestreaming, video coaching calls, or anything like that, you need a decent camera. This one looks up easily to your desktop or laptop computer. It also has a built-in microphone if you don't have one already.
If you need the model higher that's optimized for sites like YouTube and Twitch, then try the Logitech c922x.
Why It's Practical: A webcam levels up your video, making it more professional. Boom.
7. Pinning Perfect
You knew I had to bring in my own product! If someone you know has been talking about doing better at Pinterest for their online business, then Pinning Perfect will get them there. My co-instructor and I have taught thousands of students since 2012 and update the course regularly. Plus I work directly with Pinterest reps in my day job so you can be assured you're getting ACCURATE tips to grow your online traffic via Pinterest. Learn more about the course here.
Why It's Practical: Following a tried-and-true course is way better than trying to piece together information on web, often from people who recommend strategies that go against Pinterest's best practices.
8. iPhone Case from Society6
I've purchased my last three phone cases from Society6 because not only are the cases gorgeous, they also handle the wear and tear (and dropping) of my phone. I love the colors of this iPhone case design called Splinter.
Why It's Practical: A case protects your phone, and it might as well look nice too.
9. Yearly At-a-Glance Calendar
Yep, yep a calendar. This one is special because it's a giiiiiant one to see the entire year at once. It's 36″ x 24″ and reversible (one side horizontal and one vertical).
I use this calendar for big projects and launches. I love getting a bird's eye view of my projects and it helps me spread things out.
Why It's Practical: Because it's a calendar. Duh!
