Too Many Announcements for a Proper Blog Title!
So many things going on lately, my brain just might revolt.
Before it revolts, let me just do a brain dump of a few of the things you might want to know!

I’m Switching Hosts
I’ve been with Hostgator for a few years now and haven’t had many issues with them. However, when I switched from Momcomm to Blog Clarity, I had to get a @blogclarity.net email address through them (I had been grandfathered into Google Apps but would now have to pay to host email there). Ever since my email address has been with Hostgator, I’ve gotten BERATED with spam. Like full on assault. Even having them go to a spam folder isn’t enough because many of them don’t get marked as spam.
I’ve contacted them three times about it and the solutions they suggest only help a little. Well, one suggestion helped a lot but it also quarantined emails about very important things… LIKE BEING ASKED TO SPEAK AT A CONFERENCE.
So I’m done! I’m switching to A Small Orange (they just don’t know it yet). Affiliate link there, yo.
Getting Quiet-ish for a While
As you may have noticed, I haven’t been posting much lately. I’m a mom who shuffles kids to school and sports, a working mom who often scrambles just to work 20 hours a week at a job I adore, and a blogger who wants so much to run Blog Clarity while re-igniting Adventuroo. Oh and did I mention I’m teaching group fitness after a 3 year hiatus?
In an ideal world the teaching gig would have happened once my youngest went to Kindergarten later this year, but serendipity knocked a lot sooner than my “plan.” It was an opportunity I wouldn’t get again! Of course, if I wasn’t teaching I’d be working out anyway so it’s less to my “workload” than you might think, but still takes practicing routines. And boy did it make me realize how much I had missed it!
I love it ALL and yet I do too much. I know this about me! And I know once my five-year-old Ethan goes to kindergarten later this year I’ll have lots of extra hours to fit it all in. But I don’t want to rush that time away. I want afternoons with him to be parks and Lego-building, not working on blog posts.
So, while I’m not taking a hard break from blogging, I’m going to be a little more sporadic about posting new content for the next month or two. I’m not going anywhere, just getting a bit quieter!
Plus, I have lots of things to do behind-the-scenes too like revamping my resources page and making design tweaks. And other exciting things like work on my presentations for Mom 2.0 and BlogU! Speaking of…
What Do You Want to Know about Creating Courses?
At the end of April, I’ll be flying back to the place I lived for 5 years – Scottsdale, AZ – to speak at Mom 2.0.
I’m speaking on a topic I know LOTS about, but have never actually spoken on… creating online courses! So tell me: what are your burning questions about creating an online course?
Even if you won’t be at Mom 2.0, I’ll share some of the details in a future blog post after the conference.
Hit me with your questions!
